I grew up in a town near Eindhoven in the Netherlands. I did a lot of drawing when I was a kid. I would draw every day, learning from books, drawing things I came up with myself, taking classes; always broadening the horizon of my own imagination.
As I got older, it became clear to me that I wanted to aim for a high education while doing what I like. This led me to study Creative Technology at a university. There I could learn about a broad spectrum of subjects that I liked and it would at the same time grant me a solid background in the field I would like to work in later. It soon became apparent that I particularly liked the courses in which I could sketch, draw, design and create things. I then decided to spend more time drawing with pencil and paper, as well as digitally.
Since I grew up playing and loving games, I have always had a soft spot for a lot of aspects in game design and development. The music, art style and general feel of a game are important, and the impact of these aspects has always fascinated me. I love it when a game stands out because of its music or unique style. It is my dream to design for games, so I can add that uniqueness myself!
